About us

About us

Sprinkled with Hope is a family run organisation passionate and determined on providing Looked After Children (LAC) in the UK with the right kind of care. With a focus on individuals with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) as well as mental health difficulties up to the age of 17, our homes are there to provide the right sanctuary, routine and family set up for the individuals living there

The aim of our spaces is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can be supported and challenged to develop the skills they need to live a full and happy life while making a positive contribution to society. As a family run business our values will be reflected in the way we provide care. Each young person we support will be made to feel special, safe and comfortable in a relaxed, homely environment.

We believe that throughout their transition to adulthood young people are entitled to a happy life and support which promotes and safeguards their health, development, and welfare and protects them from harm. Our ethos is to increase each young person’s potential for growth and development towards future independence.

Requiring full time residential care our clients are vulnerable and our unique service allows them to make the next step in their progression while allowing local authorities the opportunity to place their children and young people in a forward thinking and innovative residential children’s home.

With our trained and qualified staff we endeavour to provide a high standard of care 24/7 and to equip our residents with the relevant tools to succeed in life. We believe that by working in partnership with the young people, parents, social workers and everyone involved in their care; we can achieve positive outcomes and assist them to achieve their goals.

Our
Approach

Our approach is based on the premise that the welfare of young people is paramount. The support we provide is based upon the recognition that young people require safety, space, clear boundaries, opportunities for growth, time to reflect and to be encouraged and supported to be involved in the decision making process that affects their lives. We know and acknowledge that young people also need opportunities to develop and experience positive relationships with adults. This requires the support and guidance of positive role models, as well as a structured environment and the opportunity for new experiences.

We will be providing weekly key work sessions on CSE, relationships, cooking, healthy eating, cleaning, housekeeping, budgeting, finance, access to resources and benefits, employment, training and a raft of other tailored life skills subjects to help ensure that our young people are progressing on an upward curve throughout their time with Sprinkled With Hope. In addition to this we offer in house therapeutic sessions to ensure that our young people are given the coping strategies they need at the exciting yet potentially difficult time in their lives. We will also offer in-house tutoring to ensure that young people excluded from or refusing to attend school do not fall further behind with their education. We will operate with a high standard of care which maintains the utmost dignity and worth of each individual.

THE TEAM

We are committed to providing the highest level of care and believe that the team is the core to achieving this. We provide regular training, appraisals and supervision.

Time and commitment are given to the development and progression of every individual working as part of the Sprinkled with Hope care team.

As we are opening new homes internal progression will be a great opportunity for the staff to develop their careers in the care sector with a company that genuinely values their input and time. We ensure that the team feels appreciated and individuals are rewarded and recognised for their hard work and dedication to the children and young people in our care, this is done through incentives such as pay increments, celebrations of significant events such as birthdays and team building activities.

We provide the right environment in our homes for staff giving them plenty of space for an office, sleeping area, dressing area and separate bathrooms to ensure they can have a space they want to be in. Stability is paramount for the children we care for and keeping our staff happy will be at the heart of everything we do to also ensure stability for the children in our care.
